These topics are picked according to the observation of members’ interaction in the community. The Catalysts analyze the interest of the participants in a particular area of discussion and group the issues in Topics. Members are encouraged to vote at every step of the process.

Topics for the current semester:

  • Self-regulation Protocols

Discussion on how the technology approaches solutions to protect the community from bad actors, resulting in self-regulation protocols and frameworks which go faster than the regulatory entities by any individual jurisdiction. Should we consider Self-regulation protocols as the way?

  • Global Regulation Frameworks

Discussion of how different jurisdictions are approaching regulatory frameworks. We all agree that not a single jurisdiction is able to answer all the concerns arising in the Blockchain arena. At least not for now. Should we regulate Globally?

  • Legal Agreements Platforms

Discussion on how the platforms look to solve legal agreements creation and management, dealing with the legal practice. The adoption of notary services, the biding aspect, and enforceability barrier as the challenge.  Should we model all or parts of legal agreements using code?
